The Unknown Haunted House

 The rain poured heavily as the old wooden gate creaked open by itself. Deep in the forgotten woods stood a mansion no one dared to visit after sunset. Locals called it The Unknown Haunted House a place filled with whispers, shadows, and terrifying secrets.

For decades, stories surrounded the abandoned house. Some claimed they heard screams echoing from the upper floor at midnight. Others spoke about a pale woman standing near the broken window, staring silently into the darkness. But nobody truly knew what lived inside.

One stormy evening, four friends decided to uncover the truth.

Arjun, Sameer, Neha, and Riya entered the mansion carrying only flashlights and cameras. The air inside felt cold and unnatural. Dust floated through the halls while old portraits seemed to watch their every move.

“Did you hear that?” Neha whispered.

A faint sound echoed from upstairs.

Tap… Tap… Tap…

The group froze.

Suddenly, the front door slammed shut behind them.

Riya screamed as the lights flickered violently. Their flashlight beams revealed strange symbols drawn across the walls in what looked like dried blood.

“Someone’s here,” Sameer muttered nervously.

Then they saw it.

At the end of the hallway stood a tall shadowy figure with hollow eyes and a twisted smile. Its body moved unnaturally, almost floating across the floor.

Arjun tried opening the door, but it wouldn’t move.

The ghostly figure slowly raised its hand.

Every clock inside the mansion stopped at exactly 12:13 AM.

The temperature dropped instantly. Breathing became difficult. One by one, the flashlights died.

Darkness consumed the hallway.

Then came the whispers.

“Leave… before it finds you…”

The friends ran upstairs searching for another exit. But the house had changed. Hallways stretched endlessly. Doors appeared where walls once stood. And somewhere in the darkness, footsteps followed them.

Riya suddenly vanished.

Only her camera remained on the floor, still recording.

The footage later showed something terrifying: a ghostly woman dragging Riya into a hidden room behind the wall.

Arjun and Neha finally discovered an old diary inside the attic. It belonged to the mansion’s former owner, a man obsessed with dark rituals and forbidden spirits. According to the diary, the house itself had become alive after a deadly sacrifice performed nearly 100 years ago.

The spirits trapped inside were searching for new souls.

Before they could escape, the attic door slammed shut.

The whispering returned.

Louder this time.

The walls began bleeding.

And from the darkness emerged dozens of hollow eyes staring directly at them.

The next morning, police found the mansion empty.

No sign of the four friends was ever discovered.

But sometimes, late at night, travelers passing through the woods claim they can still hear desperate screams coming from inside The Unknown Haunted House.
